We believe that young professionals – students from all kinds of different programmes and institutes -can help companies and organisations forward; so far 976 students have followed our case-based programmes. Fresh perspectives from well-motivated high-performance student teams looking at complex problems in a different way!
Our students can help you with your wicked problems. Your company’s challenges will fuel the cases we use in all of our training. The reward? You get fresh insights into your company and its strategies. You gain direct access to highly motivated students that are trained to solve company problems, and are much sought after in the job market. In addition to recruitment, cases are often used in MD programs or as a driver for discussions within the company.
The RICA offers a platform to companies and institutions that want to generate awareness among talented and enterprising students. This can be done by converting a concrete problem into a challenging case that bears the name of the company, but also by judging competitions, via advertisements and networking sessions, guest lectures and meetings with case alumni.
Our Case Academy is constantly looking for companies and institutions that want to share the reason for their “managers’ sleepless nights”. Large or small companies, profit or non-profit, enterprise or government … it doesn’t make a difference. It’s always about you and your challenge. Challenges can take a broad range, varying from ‘seeking growth opportunities’ or ‘new business models’, to ‘internal culture issues’ or ‘new value propositions’.
Florensis has been working with Rotterdam University AS for many years in the international case competition and as a host company for groups of international students who delve into our strategic business cases.
Every time we are impressed by the professionalism and commitment of these students and their teachers. This always leads to creative presentations and visions.
Our teams find it a challenge to enter into discussions with the students about their ideas. This often leads to new and refreshing insights.
The Library of Rotterdam participates in this international competition because we really want to hear the opinion of all these enthusiastic young professionals; their solutions can really contribute to the variety of opinions we need in order to make ourselves better and to help Rotterdam as a city.
