The Rotterdam School of Management, part of the Erasmus University, hosts the student-run RSM STAR Case Competition; every year in spring, in Rotterdam. The competition challenges 16 teams with the most talented business students to present their best and most innovative solutions for future growth development and sustainability.

During the case competition real-life business cases are to be solved, 2 short cases (several hours of preparation time) and 1 long case (24 hours of preparation time).  Each case is decided in a separate final and therefore has its own winner.
