Every year, in fall, the Business School of the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) organises an international case competition. 15 Universities are invited to Hong Kong.

At the start of the competition teams visit the case company, a leading Hong Kong multinational company, where they get the opportunity to ask all kinds of questions. Then they get a 22-hour case in which the specific company challenge is mentioned; all teams have 22 hours for making recommendations.  All 15 teams are divided into 3 divisions. The winner automatically qualifies for the final; the runner-up team from each division advances to challenge round. The winner of this round also qualifies for the final. The 4 finalists then compete for the final victory.
