The Alberta Student Energy Conference (ASEC) is a virtual two-day learning and networking opportunity for students and industry professionals from all over Canada and potentially the globe to come and share the future of Canada’s and the world’s energy industry. The conference also includes a multi-disciplinary case-competition with an opportunity to present innovative and creative solutions to a judging panel comprised of industry professionals from various consulting firms (such as Mckinsey & Co., Accenture, etc.). Both the conference and the competition are in Fall.

The EnergyBowl Case Competition takes place as a two-part, virtual, competition. The first part is the preliminary round where teams will be emailed the first case and they will have 72 hours to complete their analysis and presentation. Top-10 teams will be selected from all submissions to progress to the final round; they get the second case. At a virtual banquet the top-3 teams will be announced and awarded cash prizes.
