Working with real business cases and competing for the best solutions in (inter)national high-quality student competitions open doors to curiosity, creativity, decision-making, problem-solving, leadership, networking and more. Solving cases – problems that keep managers awake – is challenging, varied, rich in detail, and allows you to put into practice everything you have learned so far.
The result? Feasible and sustainable solutions that companies and governments can use to solve the complex problems of today and tomorrow. Moreover, working with cases makes education more realistic, more valuable and more interesting.
RICA wants to be a platform that connects students (getting practical experience), companies (getting practical solutions + getting exposure) and lecturers(getting practical course material).
Your impactful ambition is our starting point, the RICA mission is our guideline: making an impact in education and providing organisations with the best possible solutions by young professionals. And we can only accomplish this mission together: students, coaches, lecturers, researchers, businesses and governments.
We offer you all what is needed. It is up to you to seize these unique opportunities.
The relative unfiltered view on corporate business enables the students to look at a case without any hinderance of corporate politics or company culture. It allowed us to reflect and it has provided us insights that probably were never acquired through normal business practice.
Participating in case competitions helped me perform better and more structured under pressure, taught me to trust my own knowledge and pushed me to think of the most innovative solutions to help companies grow.
It is important to be surrounded by people who inspire us to think by ourselves, give us constantly the push to think deeper and to think differently. That kind of surrounding makes us innovative.
